Avakai Biryani by director Anish Kuruvilla was censored recently and obtained a clean [U] certificate. Starring Kamal Kamaraju of ‘Godavari’ fame and debutante Bindhu Madhavi in the lead cast, Shekhar Kammula and Chandrasekhar are producing the movie together on Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Director Anish was an erstwhile associate of Shekhar Kammula and is now debuting with this movie.

The film completed the post-production works and was through censor on 10th Nov. A pristine movie for it obtained a Universal/ Unrestricted (U) for it had no objectionable materials.

A love story woven around a 7-seater auto driver and girl who sells pickles (Avakai) is the line of the film. The movie is going to be released on 14th this month. In the evening of 13th, a premier will be screened at Prasad Multiplex at 7:00 PM.
