Two days ahead of the scheduled release of his film Adurs, NTR Junior said on Monday that, he was not against any region and that he was born in Hyderabad and wished to breath his last in the city. He also claimed that Tollywood's shifting its base to Chennai was only a perception or myth, and had no reality to it.

Making a plea to the people that his film Adurs be embraced by one and all, he fondly recalled that his grandpa and his babai owed their success to the acceptance of them by people of all regions. Please accept my Adurs the same way you accepted my earlier films, he said humbly.

He made a strong point when he said that the artistes did not have anything to do with the division of the State, indicating that they, as professionals, were apolitical.

"Seperation issue is not something which is decided upon by artistes," he said categorically. NTR's words before the release of his Adurs, came as a relief because they are sure to go a long way in soothing the ruffled feathers of pro-Telangana agitators, who may have come to believe that some film personalities are against the region. That the personal opinions of some individuals cannot be construed as the collective opinion of the industry has been subtly repeated by the Junior, and effectively at that.
