Whenever a Ravi Teja film is announced, one question that is invariably answered by the makers even before anyone puts them is whether the subject has the trappings of a mass entertainer. So was the case when Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna announced a film, to be directed by Shiva (of Shouryam).

According to Ravi Teja, the story, while being inspiring, will be likeable for mass audiences. He described Shiva as a "sensible director." Shiva (also the film's story and screenplay writer) said that the Mass Maharaja will be seen in a whole new kind of character.

The producer feels that the subject has got all of energy in it.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Raghu Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Vennela Kishore and others will be part of the film. Vijay Anthony is the music director.
