10TH BIFFES in Feb end

The annual 10th Bengaluru International film festival is slated to begin on February 22 and conclude on 1st March 2018. The Karnataka chief minister announced that this year BIFFES will be focusing on Human Rights and Social justice as topics.

I am not happy of the 9th Bengaluru International Film Festival remarked Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah. The valedictory at Mysuru held last year will be cancelled this year and the same will be held in Bengaluru in front of Vidhana Soudha.

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah at his home office Krishna on Monday evening made formal announcement with logos of the festival.

The inauguration will be held on 22nd February in front of Vidhana Soudha. The lifetime achiever in the cinema field will be honored with Rs.10 lakhs award.

Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy chairman SV Rajendra Singh Babu sought Rs.10 crore relief for more grand style. Rs.8 crore was sanctioned for 9th BIFFES.

Department of Information and Public Relations, Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy (KCA) and Government of Karnataka joint venture 10th-Bengaluru International Film Festival 2018 (10th BIFFES 2018) and a few members were present at the briefing of Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah.

At PVR Orion Mall in Rajajinagar 11 screens will be showing international films. For film industry personalities it is Rs.300 for one week, general public it is Rs.600.

The Asian cinema, Chitra Bharathi Cinema, Kannada cinema completion section, world cinema, Introspection, Grand classics are some of the categories.
