Sivakarthikeyan's 'Seemaraja' costarring Samantha that released on the 13th has had a good opening which is said to be the best in the hero's career. 24AM Studios R.D. Raja who has produced the film is also bankrolling another film with Sivakarthikeyan as hero directed by Ravikumar of 'Indru Nettru Naalai' fame which is progressing briskly.

The SciFi thriller has Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh as the lead pair, costarring Yogi Babu, Gothandam, Mottai Rajendran, Banupriya and Isha Gopikar. The highlight of the film is that A.R. Rahman is scoring the music. It is reported that the Isaipuyal played a tune from the film for Sivakarthikeyan who was swayed by it and he immediately made a request to the Oscar winner to lend his voice to it. Rahman has apparently decided to sing the song for the young hero who obviously felt honored by this gesture from the ace music director.
