Bhagmathi, a historical-drama, sees Anushka cast in the role of the Quli Qutub Shah wife. UV Creations is producing the project.
The news is that Aadhi Pinisetty could play Anushka's pair in this thriller-like film. Thus, after Sarrainodu, Aadhi is set to be seen in another big-ticket film. Already, Malayalam actor Jayaram has been roped in to play a key role.
In addition, between Bollywood actress Tabu and the Malayalam actress Asha Sarath, one will be selected to play another crucial role. Thus, artistic talent from other industries will be enriching this historical.
For a period drama, making it as a thriller-like movie will be innovative as well. The story won't focus on the love saga of Bhagmathi and Quli Qutub Shah.
Directed by Ashok G of Pilla Zamindar fame, the film will have a significant CG work.
