Close on the heels of Thoothukudi's release, director Sanjay Ram commenced the movie Aadu Puli Aattam starring newcomers.

Addressing media persons recently, the director said, 'thanks to Thoothukudi, I got an opportunity to direct Aadu Puli Aattam. A movie featuring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth released with the same title many years ago. But in no way my movie is connected with it. It's a technically superior film with realism all through.'

A one-time associate of cinematographer-director Vincent Selvah, Sanjay Ram, says, 'I am a great fan of Bollywood filmmaker Ramgopal Verma. I am impressed with his style of filmmaking. My Aadu Puli Aattam is an attempt in that direction. All efforts are on to screen the movie for Ramgopal Verma before its release'.
