'Aadukalam' ready to take on Toronto

It is still raining praises for this Vetrimaaran film which has been winning accolades non-stop. After having a successful run in Tamil Nadu, the film also fetched six National Awards at the 58th National Awards function, filling the Tamil film industry with pride.

The film's core group consisting of the hero Dhanush, director Vetrimaaran along with producer Kathiresan are Toronto bound, because 'Aadukalam' has been chosen to be screened at the prestigious Toronto film festival which will be held in Canada from September.

The film has been chosen to be screened during the 36th Toronto film festival that will be held from September 8th to 18th. Everyone behind the success of this film is absolutely thrilled that after its success in India the film has taken off to foreign soil. They are also confident about the film doing a decent round in Toronto too.

'Aadukalam', based on a village story in Tamil Nadu, had Dhanush playing the lead with Taapsee Pannu as his heroine. G.V. Prakash's music became a chartbuster in Tamil Nadu. The supporting star cast too did a splendid job in taking the movie forward. The film won critical as well as commercial success becoming one of the best films of Dhanush till date.
