SSMB28 will resume its shoot in the first or second week of January next year. The tentative date is learned to be January 8.

It's learned that director Trivikram Srinivas and Haarika & Hassine Creations put off the resumption of the shoot in view of Mahesh Babu feeling that year 2022 has been quite tragic for him. He lost his elder brother Ramesh Babu, his beloved mother Indiramma and his father Superstar Krishna this year.

Year 2022 has been terrible for the superstar. He feels the year has been unlucky for him. That's why he stayed away from shooting for SSMB28, his most prestigious project before Rajamouli's movie in November and December.

Mahesh hopes to ring in year 2023 with high optimism. New year brings new hopes.
