Ajay Devgan isnt as funny as his comedic characters, reveals Kajol

Seasoned actress Kajol is all set to deliver a heartfelt performance in the film 'Salaam Venky' and these days she is busy with promotions of the same. In one such promotional interview, she shared that although her husband Ajay Devgan has done several comedic roles, he isn't really funny in real life. Apparently the actress was asked whether she would want to work in a comedy flick alongside Akshay.

Kajol told Pinkvilla, "Gopal (Ajay’s character from Golmaal) se puchna padega. If we do work together it should have to be on something which is deserving of both of us. Aur agar comedy ayegi toh ek teesre se ayegi, hum dono toh kabhi ek dusre ke liye aise sochenge nahi. I don’t think he is very funny like that. Real life mai itne funny toh nahi hai.”

'Salaam Venky' also features a cameo from superstar Aamir Khan who worked alongside Kajol in 'Fanaa'. Talking about her equation with Aamir, Kajol said, "My equation with him is always good and I keep meeting him. I really respect Aamir as an actor and I think the great thing about him as an actor is that he has managed somehow and worked very hard. There is no particular thing you are looking for in a Aamir Khan film, besides the fact that it is going to be a good film. He works very hard to just make a good film and I really respect that about him and he is absolutely fantastic in Salaam Venky.”
