Akshay Kumar makes a shocking announcement

Akshay Kumar has become the latest celebrity to get diagnosed with the Covid-19 virus during its second wave. He took to his instagram on Sunday to inform about the same. He shared that he has isolated himself and requested everyone around him to get tested as well. He also assured his fans that he'll soon be back in action.

The post shared by Akshay read, "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon."

Akshay recently started filming for his next film 'Ram Setu' which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. H also has several finished films lined up for release at appropriate times. He'll be seen in 'Atrangi Re', 'Bell Bottom', 'Bachchan Pandey' etc but his most anticipated film is Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi'.
