'Dhruva' being a tried and tested flick, Ram Charan, Surendar Reddy and Allu Aravind have been confident from the beginning about its redemptive value. As Cherry would say on Megastar's birthday, Surendar Reddy took the subject of 'Thani Oruvan' up to do a remake even though he himself has original hits to his credit. This could not have been solely due to a promise made to Cherry that he will do a film with the Mega actor, but also due to the strength of the subject.

As the action-drama, in which Cherry plays a cop, braces up for a grand October 7 release, here comes the news that Geetha Arts is going to distribute the film on its own in the crucial areas of Nizam, Krishna, and Godavari.

The move only goes to show that the producer has full faith in the film. The film has music by Hip Hop Adhi.
