Gone are the days when it was only the heroes who did all the macho stuff and the heroines were reducced to damsels in distress always waiting for their knights in shining armour to come and rescue them from danger.  The modern actresses train hard and do thier own stunt scenes to perfection.  Recently it was Sneha who trained in the ancient Tamil martial art "Adimurai' in the Dhanush starrer 'Pattas' which is a major highlight in the film.

There is also a buzz that Malavika Mohanan is doing her own stunt scenes with Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.  Its the turn of the daring Amala Paul next to get into full action mode in 'Adho Andha Paravai Pola' directed by K.R .Vinod.  The intriguing trailer of the film was released on Saturday which is well recieved by fans on the internet.

Director Vinod has shared that Amala Paul trained in the Krav Maga martial arts that originated in Israel used widely by army personnel and the actress has risked her life in doing gravity defying stunts. The film produced by Jones has music score by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Santhakumar C and editing by John Abraham.  Release is expected in February this year.
