As we had reported earlier Superstar Rajinikanth is stationed in New Delhi along with the crew of '2.0' directed by Shankar. The star has started shooting for the film in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the National Capital.

Sources who have had a look at the shooting spot give some interesting details about the shoot.

A football game was shot for the film. The idea of the scene is like a match between the Chennai team and the Mumbai team in India Football League Tournament. Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar have shot for this football sequence.

Interestingly the sources have also spotted Bollywood veteran Amithabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan in the shooting spot yesterday. It is rumored that the duo make cameo appearances in the film as Football team owners. It is worth recalling that the Big B was earlier approached for the lead negative role in the film but it went to Akshay Kumar as the senior actor could not take up the role.

'2.0' is being directed by masterclass director Shankar on a grand scale and produced by Lyca Productions on a whopping budget of Rs.350 crores Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the film which will have Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman's musical score.
