Group supports Simbu and burns Amy Jackson effigy

One Veeralakshmi , leader of a fringe group Tamizhar Munetra Padai along with fifty members staged an agitation in front of the Nadigar Sangam premises, burning Amy Jackson`s effigy for supporting the permanent ban on the Jallikattu.

The group suddenly switched to raising slogans in support of Simbu over the Beep Song` issue and police have arrested twenty two persons in connection to the agitation.
