Did Nayantharas villain use illegal drug on public video?

Anurag Kashyap is one of the most respected filmmakers in Indian cinema who is known for his severe criticism on the ruling governments as much as his pathbreaking films. A social media user has shared a coronavirus awareness video in which he is seen rolling a cigarette and has claimed that the ace director is rolling a joint (marijuana drug). He has captioned it "Hello Mumbai Police will you please look into this? Here Anurag Kashyap is rolling a joint which is illegal in India.".

Anurag has shot back "Yes please for once Mumbai Police look into it. Once and for all let’s make it clear that I roll tobacco and please thoroughly investigate for the satisfaction of the bhakts and the trolls. SM users are questioning the ace director how he managed to procure tobacco during the lockdown time.

Anurag Kashyap is also closely associated with Tamil film industry and has acted as the main villain in Nayanthara's 'Imaikka Nodigal' directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu.
