After 'Baahubali 2' Anushka to play title role in another historical film

The most preferred leading actress for historical films without any doubt seems to be Anushka fondly known as Sweety among her friends. After the path-breaking Baahubali` series and Rudhramadevi` the actress of substance has agreed to do one more historical drama titled Bhagmati`.

Bhagmati` will be directed by Ashok G, who has earlier given the hit movie Pilla Zamindar`. It is learnt that Ashok had narrated the script and impressed Anushka during the shooting of Rudhramadevi` itself and due to commitments to the Baahubali` series the project has seen a delay but now things have fallen in place and shooting is expected to begin as soon as Baahubali 2` completes by the middle of 2016.
