Aravindha Sametha will be a milestone in my career: NTR

The pre-release event of 'Aravindha Sametha' was held on Tuesday in Hyderabad. The film's trailer was also unveiled on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry said, "Trivikram garu is coming with a refreshing story this time. You have listened to the soundtrack. You have found so many moods in it. NTR's fans enjoy not only peppy songs but also soulful ones. That's what you have proved. This film's songs belong to the highest standards. My song 'Yeda Poyinado' is a majestic number, the kind of song only a few directors would be ready for. It brings out the thinking of the Seema region. It's against the backdrop of a funeral. It's Penchal Das garu who has penned the major portions of the song. Trivikram garu too has penned it. You will see NTR has put in a great performance in a versatile role in the movie. Thaman has breathed life into the songs."

The lyricist spoke at length about the film's subject. "The chaos, rivalries, feuds, etc in our society are rampant. Even love and caste are becoming tools to kill people. Murder is being glamourized. In 'Aravindha Sametha', life will be glamourized. We want patience, love and forgiveness to reign supreme. And this is possible only for a courageous, brave man. This great character has been played by NTR. His grandfather had acted in deglamourized roles in his prime. NTR is raring to prove his talent in challenging roles now. Besides entertaining you, he will educate you with his roles."

Eesha Rebba said, "I feel lucky to have acted opposite NTR garu. It's not an ordinary thing to bag a role opposite him. He infects his energy to others while on the sets. I thank Trivikram garu for making me a part of this entertainer. NTR garu's fans are happy that a Telugu girl has been given an opportunity by Trivkram garu. Only because of you guys (audience) that I am here today."

Sunil said, "I have played a nice role after years. Trivikram has been like a mother, father and a friend to me ever since I came to Hyderabad. He will always be there for me whenever I have to play a good role. Tarak bhayya is so kind that he can give away his seat if he has to. He thinks of other's comforts always. After watching the film, you will be scared to sleep at the mere thought of having to see Jagapathi Babu garu in your nightmare."

Thaman said, "I have always treated Annayya's movies as special outings, be it Brindavanam, Rabhasa, Baadshah or this one. I think about it even in dreams. I have done this movie giving so much value to Trivikram garu's words. I thank the lyricists and my singers. You will love the BGM of this movie a lot." Sivamani described Thaman as a genius.

Jagapathi Babu said, "Today, I had to wait for 75 minutes outside the gate to enter the auditorium. I was waiting outside like a fan. The fans behaved responsibly and my respect for NTR's fans has increased now. Seeing Tarak's six-pack abs, I said to myself that he is the true man. It was Tarak's idea that I should do this movie. I had always wanted to act in Trivikram's direction. He challenged every artist to better themselves. He is back. Tarak cared for me so much that he treated me like a child. A big star as to be modest like him." He revealed a dialogue from the movie: 'Chaavu chokka lekunda thirigithe yettuntaado telusa!'

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram spoke of how his ancestors believed in performing duty religiously come what may. "My grandfather didn't attend the wedding of his son because it happened a month before the elections in early 1980s. When a tragedy happened in our family on August 29, many expressed doubts about whether this film will be released on time. But Tammudu didn't want the producer to suffer any losses. Nanna, you are in our hearts. I and my brother will always practise what you taught us," he said. As he was delivering the speech, NTR was seen fighting back his tears. Kalyan Ram thanked producer China Babu for making the NTR-Trivikram combo possible. "We were waiting for this combo for 10 years," he said.

Trivikram Srinivas said, "There are occasions when it would be better not to talk much. Today is such a day. I sincerely thank everyone who has worked on the movie. By overcoming his grief (after the death of his father), Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu has proved that he is a hero in real life, too."

NTR said, "It was my dream of 12 years to work with Trivikram garu. I have known him as a good friend since before he made 'Nuvve Nuvve'. We have always shared everything in private. But I always wondered as to why no project ever happened in our combination. Finally, when I started doing this film with him, I understood the value of life because of what happened in my life a month ago (referring to his father's death). As this film says, he who stops war is the real hero. Life is not about feuds, it's about living a life. That's what this film says. Many felt that the title of this movie is not powerful. But nothing is stronger more than a woman standing beside a man. I have seen a friend and a director in Trivikram. And with this film, I have seen a soulmate, too, in him. Trivikram will always be there by my side whenever I face any obstacle. I am sure 'Aravindha Samitha' is going to be a milestone in my career. It happened because of destiny. This is my 28th film. In no previous film did I ever lit a fire to a father's funeral pyre. Coincidentally or otherwise, for the first time in a film, I had to lit fire to my father's pyre. (As he did in real life)."

"We don't realize the value of someone when he is alive. We realize it when it's too late," NTR said, breaking into tears remembering his late father. "It's you people (fans) who have been with us from the beginning. My father always felt that the fans should be taken care of even at the cost of our own selves. It would have been great had he been alive to watch this movie. More than we need him, God needed him more!" he said philosophically. "He will always be there in your hearts. I never imagined that his portrait will be placed beside the portrait of my grandfather this early. We dedicate our lives to you people," NTR said emotionally.

He further noted, "I can't imagine any other music director for this movie. When the soundtrack came out, many commented that the film has no mass songs. I am an actor first and then a dancer. Thaman spent sleepless nights for this film. He knows what you will like. Each song is a like a scene in the movie. I thank Sirivennela garu and Ramajogaiah Sastry garu for the lyrics."

He hailed producer Radha Krishna as a pillar who is very passionate. "Without Jagapathi garu, there is no 'Aravindha Sametha'. A great onscreen hero needs a great villain. I know how much he has worked hard in scorching heat in that get-up. The audience will first talk about him after walking out of the theatre. Naveen Chandra is another villain in this movie. When I watched 'Andala Rakshasi', I connected to him. And I have liked him even more in 'AS'. He is a pillar of 'AS'," NTR signed off.
