'Arjun Reddy' is currently being remade in Tamil.  To be directed by Gireesaaya (an assistant of Sandeep Vanga), its title is 'Adithya Varma'.  The previous title of the junked version was 'Varma', which was directed by Bala.  The version will not make it to the theatres as its quality was not acceptable to the producers.

'Adithya Varma' has got a title logo, which apes that of the original.  Dhruv Vikram's get-up is much similar to that of Vijay Deverakonda.  With Sandeep Vanga's assistant doing the movie, expect this one to be a faithful remake.

Banita Santhu is its heroine.  Priya Anand will play the role of a cine actress in the movie.  

Music is by Radhan.  Ravi K Chandran will crank the camera.
