Mani Ratnam is super busy shooting for his multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' starring the ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika, Dayana Erappa and Appani Sarath amonth others.  So far it was unknwon about who is pairing with whom in the mega project.

Relaible sources suggest that Arvind Swamy and Jyothika are playing husband and wife in 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' and their wedding scene was canned at ECR a couple of weeks earlier.  The shooting which was planned to go on nonstop will however see a break as the Producer Council has called for an indefinite total shutdown from Friday the 16th of March in protests against the digital service providers high charges.
