Madhavan's Arya will finally hit the screens on 27 July.

Directed by Balasekharan, the movie is produced by director Manojkumar. Bhavana plays Madhavan's heroine in the movie.

Being released simultaneously in Telugu, the movie features Prakash Raj in a prominent role.

“Madhavan plays a doctor in the movie. It is a movie filled with action, romance and sentiment”, says Balasekharan.

Madhavan's last release had been Rendu, which went on to become a hit. Expectations are now high on Arya.
