'AWE!' director reveals his plan to TRS MP

AWE! director reveals his plan to TRS MP

Prasanth Varma, the director of 'AWE!', is currently doing Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer 'That's Maha Lakshmi' (remake of Kangana Ranaut's 'Queen'). Latest, he has talked about what he has been working on.

In a recent interview, TRS MP Kavitha Kalvakuntla stated that she liked watching 'AWE!' because it's so different and bereft of routine elements. She said that such films should be made in Tollywood more and more.

Thanking the politico for her words, the director said, "I promise to bring you more out-of-the-box stories. Working on a story completely set in 1983, Telangana."

After 'Rangasthalam' was set in the 1985 Andhra, Varma is working on a period drama. Welcome to new Tollywood!
