Will Smith showed the first glimpse of himself as a superstar in one of his first films 'Bad Boys' released in 1995 in which Martin Lawrence costarred as the first lead. By 2003 when the sequel hit the screens the equation had changed with Smith billed first in the titles. The third part in the series was in the works for the past 15 years and every year fans were given to believe that filming will start but was stalled for unknown reasons.

Now finally it has been confirmed that 'Bad Boys 3' is getting made and will see a 2020 release. Will Smith took to instagram stating "Smith is “Yo, yo. I’m telling y’all. I’m telling y’all this is crazy, wait, wait, just wait — it’s official!”. He posted an old pic of himself as Mike Lowrey alongside Martin Lawrence as Marcus Burnett. the two kickass Miami narcotics detectives. The title is said to be 'Bad Boys for Life'
