Deepika Padukone made her first BAFTA appearance at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs). The 35-year-old actress wore a beautiful white saree with a matching backless blouse, designed by her favorite Sabyasachi, to walk down the red carpet at Royal Festival Hall in London. Deepika awarded the Best Film Not in the English Language to director Jonathan Glazer for "The Zone of Interest."

The last time the actress was seen was in the film "Fighter," and later she shared a lot of pictures of her look at the BAFTA on her social media. Her stylist Shaleena Nathani also shared a back view of the outfit in her caption, "Tonight at the BAFTAs."

A day prior to the BAFTA red carpet, celebrity fitness trainer Anshuka Parwani shared a picture of Deepika, where she wrote in the caption, "BAFTA mornings. Sweating it out before she takes center stage."

This is not the first time Deepika has gone international with a saree. Earlier, Deepika wore a creation by Rohit Bal at her maiden Cannes Film Festival, followed by a Sabyasachi saree and an Abu-Sandeep look while serving on the Cannes jury in 2022.

Deepika joined the list of top-notch presenters at the BAFTAs and joined actor David Tennant in honor of Hugh Grant, Dua Lipa, Idris Elba, and Andrew Scott. The nominee slate for Best Actor featured Bradley Cooper, Cillian Murphy, and Paul Giamatti; Best Actress had Emma Stone, Margot Robbie, and Carey Mulligan; and Best Supporting Actor brought forth Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr., and Ryan Gosling, followed by Emily Blunt, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Rosamund Pike for Best Supporting Actress.
