Balakrishna has finally opened up on the much-delayed shoot of his upcoming NTR biopic. Weeks after saying that it will go on the floors in August, he has confirmed that the film will be shot from March 29. "We will begin it at Hyderabad's Ramakrishna Cine Studios," he said.

He scoffs at the suggestion that the biopic is timed for release ahead of the 2019 polls. "We are not making it with the elections in view. We are planning to release it for Sankranthi 2019," the Nandamuri actor said.

The makers are going with the title 'NTR'. "Everybody used to admire NTR garu, irrespective of which party they belonged to," the 'Jai Simha' actor said.

To be directed by Teja, the film's cast and crew details will be revealed soon.
