After a traumatic experience Bhavana has bravely moved on and got engaged and she has spoken to Malayalam press explaining why she did it secretly. According to Bhavana she did not want any publicity towards her private moment and that is why not even her close friends were invited though they were informed.

Bhavana has disclosed that she has known her fiancé Naveen for the past five years who is the producer of her debut Kannada movie. The multilingual actress plans to have the wedding before the end of this year. She is currently starring opposite Prithviraj in a Malayalam film titled 'Adam'.
