Bheemla Nayak: Ranas bad guy vibes lure the audience!

'Bheemla Nayak' is a pack of highs and there are no two ways about it. It's a Pawan Kalyan star vehicle that has been neatly designed to cater to the fan base of Power Star. But it would be no exaggeration to say that, at one level, it's also a multi-starrer courtesy of Rana Daggubati playing a well-etched, full-fledged role that is not an antagonist in the conventional sense of the term.

The character played by the 'Aranya' actor comes with a 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' attitude. After all, he is an aspiring politician in the Trivikram-written movie. As he exudes the spoilt brat vibes, Rana has literally ensured that the arrogant Daniel Sekhar gets himself registered in our heads. The scene where he goes against his father's Plan B to drag Nayak's wife into the ego tussle is a stand-out moment.

It goes without saying that Rana has found his way into the hearts of the audience like never before since the 'Baahubali' movies, where he played the antagonist Bhallaladeva in an unapologetic fashion. In 'Bheemla Nayak', he has resurrected himself with elan. As Daniel, his shifting equations with the mercurial titular character have been expressly brought out by his thorough acting.

Going by the striking reception to Rana Daggubati's performance in 'Bheemla Nayak', it may be safe to conclude that the talented actor has ensured that the tone is set for a vibrant release of 'Virata Parvam', an action drama where he has been cast as a Maoist.
