Vijay Antony of 'Bicchagadu' fame has cut down his remuneration. The well-known actor, who is doing three Tamil movies at the moment, has made an announcement in this regard.
The actor has come forward to help the struggling producers by voluntarily reducing 25% of his salary he had committed for the three movies.
His large-hearted move has come in for praise from the producers of his movies, FEFSI and others.
He is one of the first actors in India to make this gesture. Sooner or later, many more will have to do slash their fees. If theatrical revenues don't pick up, producers will have no choice but to force actors, especially superstars, to trim down their mega revenues drastically.
