The Kamal Haasan hosted 'Bigg Boss' show that was broadcast on Vijay Tv initially had luke warm response but picked up massively to become the most watched show in Tamil television history.   The show also propelled Oviya into a youth icon and it is no exaggeration to state that Kamal the politiician got closer to the young generation like never before.

The 'Bigg Boss' season 2 is getting ready to debut in June and according to reports Kamal is all set to return as host.  The new team on board is said to have convinced Oviya to make a comeback and negotiations are also on with top heroes Jayam Ravi and Arya to participate as well.  Official confirmation can be expected any time now and meanwhile the ruling party is said to be miffed by Kamal hosting the show and using it for his political leverage.
