Interestingly, our B-town's young brigade have something in common. Take for instance - Varun Dhawan, Sidharath Malhotra, Ranbir Kapoor.. Varun Dhawan: Being the son of ace director David Dhawan, Varun started off by assisting Karan Johar for film 'My Name is Khan' before getting launched by Karan Johar in his film 'Student of the Year'.

Vicky Kaushal: He is son the of Ace Action Director Shyam Kaushal. Though Vicky had harboured a short term desire to follow his dad's footsteps but he choose engineering degree instead. Then when he realized 9-5 job wasn't the thing he wanted to do in life. He did an acting course, then theatre and he became assistant director and worked with Anurag Kashyup over film 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. He was critically acclaimed for the performance in 'Masaan' and now plays lead in his upcoming film 'Zubaan'.

Harshvardhan Kapoor: Anil Kapoor's son worked as an AD for Anurag Kashyup's 'Bombay Velvet' and now he will be debuting in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Film Miriyan.

Arjun Kapoor: Before he made his debut from 'Ishqzaade', filmmaker Boney Kapoor's son assisted film makers on several films such as 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' and 'Salaam-e-Ishq'.

Ranbir Kapoor: This ace actor has made a mark in the industry by giving fabulous performances in films like 'Baarfi' and 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'. Very few know that he assisted worth noting films like 'Prem Granth' and also Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Black' in year 2005.
