Title - BULLET BASYA, Producers - Jayanna and Bhogendra, Direction - Jayathirtha, Music - Arjun Janya, Cinematography - Sugnan, Cast - Sharan, Haripriya, Giri Godhuli, Prashanth Siddi, Sadhu Kokila, Ramesh Bhat, Girija Lokesh, Yathiraj, Muni, Tanveer, Ninasam Ashwath and others.

After century of films Sharan is growing heaps and bounds in the business of entertainment. This is another film with title `Bullet Basya' - the audience would have a jolly ride in entertainment. The story of Sharan is not that great. He has easily stitched and it is a mediocre storyline.

However the film is loaded with good entertainment that comes from proper timing and dialogues. Haripriya looks extra glam girl in this film and her serene looks further scales up the film. Sharan is of course mainstay in two roles. To win the heart of his lady love Basya taking extreme step is the crux of the film.

Bullet Basya (Sharan) is like a playboy in the village with affluence on his side. He has many girl friends and his mind settles down finally to Kaveri (Haripriya). That is not easy to get Kavery as lady love and life partner. Kaveri has Muthu (Sharan again) her childhood relative (maternal uncle - Mava) who is typical in looks of Bullet Basya.

The main hardship of Basya is Muthu. He hatches a plot to eradicate Muthu does not yield results for him. The kidnap drama and making everyone believe that Muthu is no more, seeking government compensation for the death of Muthu makes Kaveri to believe Basya completely. A fake mantrik also creates a situation on a payment from Basya. That further develops affection in Kaveri towards Basya. Basya plan topples when Muthu escape from the clutches. Kavery knows about this fact. She decides to take revenge on Basya follows in the climax. How and what Basya does now? You can buy tickets and watch.

In dialogues, acting and dance Sharan is a winner again. The joyous ride he makes and finally succumbing to good deeds in this film is a point of realization. Duryodhana becoming Dharmaraja is the role of `Bullet Basya'.

Haripriya in village costume, mod costumes in songs and in traditional one for another song is the major glam portion of this film. It is a pretty good role for pretty heroine Haripriya.

The side kick for the main kick (Sharan - he was also side kick once) Yathiraj, Tanvir, Prashanth Siddi does neat job and dialogues given to all the characters by first timer Raghu Niduvalli is appreciable. Tabla Naani as corrupt politician in a guest role has nothing big.

Arjun Janya musical scores lift the film as the songs are melodious and peppy. Three are well done by Arju Janya. Sugnan in his camera gives a treat to the eyes.

Jayanna Combines on winning spree gives another family entertainer. Worth a dekko!

Score - 7/10
