It was on March 28 way back in 2003 that 'Gangotri' released. Allu Arjun's first movie was a box-office hit that summer.

Remembering the film and thanking director K Raghavendra Rao, producer and his father Allu Aravind, Bunny says, "It’s been 16 years since I entered movies. I am always grateful to KRR, Ashwini Dutt garu and Dad for launching me. I am soo fortunate to win appreciation and love from soo many people. Thank you all. Thank you for every blessing."

The Mega hero didn't get much recognition for his performance in the movie although it was a big hit. It was with his second flick, 'Arya', that Bunny's fortunes saw a huge turnaround.
