Protestors in Chattisgarh expressed their anger on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's rhetoric on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir by holding a mock funeral procession for the PM. Imran Khan had earlier threatened to use nuclear weapons against India.

Ridiculing the Indian government's decision on the revoking of Article 370 by calling it a "historic blunder," Imran Khan stated that incidents like Pulwama were bound to happen again. He further added, "I can already predict this will happen. They will attempt to place the blame on us again. They may strike us again, and we will strike back." The Indian protestors, claiming that they fully supported PM Modi's decision to withdraw the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir, burned figures of Imran Khan and slurred anti-Pakistan and anti-Imran Khan slogans at Jaistambh Chawak.

"Muslims in this country are united and are with the country in every situation. If a bullet is fired from Pakistan, we would be the one to take on our chests. Imran himself is not a devote Muslim. He has five wives and he even consumes liquor," one of the protestors who organized the procession reportedly said.

Article 370 specifies that except for defence, foreign affairs, communications and matters specified in the Instrument of Accession of Jammu and Kashmir, the Parliament needs the state government's ratification for all other laws.
