A 10 year old child was raped and murdered in Maduravoyal, Chennai in a residential area, and a person has been arrested for committing the heinous crime. This incident has created shock waves among the public residing there.

In an apartment in MMDA colony, Maduravoyal, a person named Sreenivasan was residing with his family. Yesterday, his 10 year old daughter was missing even after 12 o clock, and as they could not find her, Sreenivasan lodged a complaint in Maduravoyal police station.

It was found upon investigation that the child's body was thrown from the third floor of the building, and a person named Suresh, also residing in the same apartment had raped and tossed her body from the third floor. Suresh has been arrested and the child's body has been sent to Kilpauk hospital for postmortem.
