As Nandamuri Balakrishna turned a year older today, several celebs took to social media pages to wish the 'Akhanda' actor. Megastar Chiranjeevi was among the first to do so.

Describing him as a friend, the 'Acharya' actor wished that the 'Legend' actor always stays healthy and happy. Addressing him as Bala Babai, Jr NTR wrote that he wishes that Balayya always stays healthy. "Wishing you a very Happy 61st Birthday Babai," the 'RRR' actor added.

Posting a stylish pic of the Nandamuri actor, Venkatesh wrote, "Happy birthday dear Balakrishna gaaru!! Hope you have a peaceful and safe year ahead (sic)."

Earlier in the week, the birthday boy requested his fans not to travel all the way to his place in the time of the pandemic. He said that it will pain him if even one of them is in harm's place. "It would give me the utmost happiness if you stay with your family in a happy space," he added.

On the occasion of his birthday today, Mythri Movie Makers announced Balayya's 107th movie. It will be helmed by Gopichand Malineni, while S Thaman will be its music director. Boyapati Srinu's 'Akhanda' is his immediate next release.
