COVID-19: Me too convict Harvey Weinstein tests positive

Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein, who is currently serving a 23-year sentence for rape and sexual assault in New York, has tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. Harvey, who turned 68 last Thursday, is being isolated at Wende Correctional Facility in Western New York. The 68-year-old is one of two inmates at Wende correctional Facility in western New York, to have tested positive for COVID-19.

It is reported that Harvey was infected during his stay at Rikers Island prison and a Manhattan hospital, where he was treated for chest pains. According to local newspapers, the guards at Rikers and New York's Sing Sing prison tested positive for the virus.
