'Kousalya Krishnamurthy' is the Telugu remake of a Tamil movie that is based on cricket. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the daughter of senior actor Rajendra Prasad. Prodded by his father, who is a distressed farmer, she goes on to play for the country in women's cricket.

The news is that the film's pre-release event on July 2 will see the famous cricketer Mithali Raj grace as the chief guest. It will be a fitting thing to happen. Raj has been one of the most successful cricketers India has ever seen.

Presenter KS Rama Rao is confident that the film will be a hit when it releases in the second week of July. "We completed the production works in 35 days. Aishwarya, who is a niece of Srilakshmi garu and daughter of actor Rajesh garu, has done a great job," he says.
