Actress Devayani gave birth to a girl child on Sunday (January 27). The delivery, which was cesarean, took place in Chetput Mehtha hospital. The child needed to be kept under medical care.
The pleasure of having a new entrant in the house was further enhanced by the arrival of DevayaniÂs parents, who had been refusing to meet her following her love marriage with director Rajakumaran, a few years ago. It is worth recalling that Jayadev and Lakshmi, parents of Devayani, didnÂt turn up to see the first child Iniya.
Now Devayani and the child are in Miot hospital, located in the outskirts of Chennai. IndiaGlitz expresses its best wishes to the new born child.
