After Balu Mahendra's 'Adhu Oru Kanaa Kalam', Dhanush and Priyamani would come together again for a movie, to be directed by Balasekharan. The movie is reportedly a remake of Telugu hit ‘Arya’.

Balasekharan was shot to fame directing Vijay's ‘Love Today’ and the recent movie ‘Arya’ which featured Madhavan and Bhavana in prominent roles.

Dhanush had seen Telugu 'Arya' and was highly impressed with the script. He has given a go ahead to commence the movie in Tamil. Priyamani is on a high after back-to-back hits in Paruthi Veeran and 'Malaikottai'.
