Dhanush injures himself on film sets

Dhanush is doing Balaji Mohan's 'Maari-2' (Tamil) these days. On Friday, the actor suffered an injury on the sets of the film during an action sequence. He was performing a stunt with co-star Tovino Thomas. This is when something went wrong, resulting in an injury to his right knee and left arm.

While the hearsay is that the injury is severe, it seems to be a minor one as per initial reports. The actor is currently undergoing treatment at a Chennai hospital.

'Maari-2' is in the last stages of its filming. Its shooting will be resumed once the actor bounces back to normalcy. Sai Pallavi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are part of the cast. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
