Actor Dhanush, who was last seen on screen in the Gautham Vasudev Menon directed Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta will be seen next in Pattas, which releases on Pongal day, January 15. The actor is now shooting for his 41st movie Karnan directed by Mari Selvaraj.

Dhanush had made his Bollywood debut with the movie Raanjhanaa directed by Aanand L Rai, and had next acted in Shamitabh directed by Balki. Now the actor is set to return to Bollywood yet again joining hands with Aanand L Rai for a movie which is said to be a romantic drama.

While it was earlier said that Hrithik Roshan and Sara Ali Khan will also be the leads in the movie, the latest speculation making the rounds is that Hrithik Roshan might be replaced by Akshay Kumar in this movie. Akshay Kumar has earlier played villain to Dhanush's father in law Rajnikanth in 2.0.
