Dhanush's 'Maari 2' has a super hot expectation meter from the younger generation of the audiences who are kind of hooked on the local don.  Director Balaji Mohan has shared the update "Happy that 'Maari 2' shoot is progressing at brisk pace & is 40% done. Will resume after the strike & targeting release in the second half of 2018.

'Maari 2' has Dhanush and Sai Pallavi as the lead pair while Tovino Thomas, Krishna, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Robo Shankar form the rest of the cast.  Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the film is produced by Wunderbar Films.
