Dia Mirza Captures Us With This Avatar In 'Sanju'

On the occasion of Sunil Dutt’s birth anniversary yesterday, Director Rajkumar Hirani had unveiled the the poster of Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis (played by Manisha Koirala). And  today, the talented filmmaker took to Twitter to share Sanju Baba’s wife Maanayata Dutt’s poster . Being one of the strongest pillars in Sanju’s life, Mrs.Dutt played by Dia Mirza in the film has been  through the toughest times of the actor supporting him in all the possible ways.
After giving a glimpse of the closest persons in Sanju’s life – the emotional father-son bond, the heartwarming mother-son relationship, the best lifeline in the form of Dosth, the major force in his romantic life, Director Rajkumar today presented Dia Mirza as Mrs. Dutt who has been the most incredible support in his life. During an interaction, the actress revealed, "I have heard things that I have not heard before. After doing the film I feel more connected with Sanjay Dutt than I ever had. Jab Hum log ‘Lage Rahe Munnabhai’ ki shooting complete kar chuke the, I think at that time I had gotten the opportunity to interact with Maanayata. And of course over the years I have interacted with her."
Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios,‘Sanju’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Anushka Sharma amongst others. The film is slated to release on 29th June 2018.
