Producer Harry Baweja and director Hansal Mehta seem to be on a collision course.

"I have too much on my plate, and I'm sure Harry too is busy, to get into this 'tu-tu-main-main' situation. My new film 'Anjaan' is releasing in two weeks. I need to focus on that, not on Anurag Kashyap," Mehta told IANS, a tad sarcastic about Baweja's claim that the director intervened on behalf of Kashyap.

Laughs Mehta, "Please, I'm no one to take up cudgels on behalf of Anurag or anyone else. Where have I spoken about Anurag's payment? It's true that Anurag had initially written the script for Harry's new Urmila-starrer. But now I think the script has been completely reworked by Harry's son Harman.

"I haven't met Anurag in ages. I once recently ran into him at a traffic signal where he asked me about his payment from Harry. That's it. I've no interest in Anurag's interests. He has his problems, I've mine."

Mehta is hurt by Baweja's claim about suffering heavy losses in producing the sex comedy "Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai".

"I'm very sorry Harry had to suffer losses on my account. It was very kind of him to back me in spite of my lack of box-office clout. But couldn't we've sorted this out on our own instead of going to the press?

"Why make a public issue out of a private matter? I'd have preferred to talk to Harry. In fact I messaged him after I read Harry's statements about me. He didn't respond. I wonder why he's letting out steam.

"Right now all I'm thinking about is my new film 'Anjaan'. It has shaped up very well."
