Maheshbabu-Samanta starrer 'Dookudu' directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, had almost completed its shooting but for the canning of two songs and a few screens.

The makers of the film are planning to wrap up the shooting and other post-production formalities as early as possible and release the film on August 25.

It is worth mentioning here that there was a gossip among the media that the film was planned to be released on August 31 earlier.

The audio release of the film was also preponed to August 7 as per the information available and the function was slated to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad.
