Marking the National Girl Child Day, Mahesh Babu has said that it's everyone's responsibility "to put constant effort to fight against the social stigma about girl child".

The 'Maharshi' actor added, "Educate, empower and let them flourish".

The superstar and his wife, Namrata, have continued to hold charity activities for the betterment of the poor in their two adopted villages.

On the work front, the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star is shooting for his next film in Pollachi. The drama will hit the screens on April 25.

His film with Sukumar will have Red Sanders smuggling as a key plot element.
