Following the announcement, Jim reacted to his loss against English actor Martin Freeman, while Vir praised both Jim and Shefali.

Jim Sarbh was nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor category for his role in the web series 'Rocket Boys', but lost to Martin Freeman. After the reveal, Jim expressed his feelings on Instagram, writing, "No luck folks".

Vir Das, on his Instagram story, lauded both Jim and Shefali Shah. Shefali, nominated for 'Delhi Crime' Season 2, lost to Karla Souza. Vir mentioned, "Shefali Shah is an exceptional talent of our time. Jim Sarbh is on the same remarkable path. I hold immense respect for them. It's been an honor to witness their skill and artistry."

Sharing pictures with the Emmy Award on Instagram, Das expressed gratitude, stating, "For India 🇮🇳 For Indian comedy. Every breath, every word. Thank you to the @iemmys for this incredible honor."
