West Indies wins the first international cricket match after corona lockdown!

In an exciting news for cricket fans all over the world, West Indies won the first international cricket match, almost four months after the coronavirus outbreak. West Indies defeated England on Day 5 at the test held at an empty Rose Bowl.

Jermaine Blackwood was the star for West Indies as he scored 95 and the team won by four wickets in the final session. The winning shot was hit by John Campbell and skipper Jason Holder was on the non-striker's and, at 14 not out.

England scored 204 in its first innings and West Indies scored 318. In the second innings, England was bowled out for 313 in its second innings, while West Indies came back after initial loss of wickets and ended on 200-6 in its second innings to take a lead in the three-test series. Pacer Shannon Gabriel scalped 5-75 for the West Indies and in the first innings, Gabriel claimed 4-62, and ended with a nine-wicket match haul.The second test starts Thursday in Manchester.
