As is known, it is a must for one and all to enroll themselves on the Spandana website of the Andhra Pradesh government before booking air tickets. On Sunday night, the YSRCP government came up with a new addition to the rule.

It's mandatory for these registrations to be approved by the government. However, till Monday afternoon, approvals were still pending for the registrations. A Times Of India report says that travel agents and airline services are waiting for the registrations to be approved so that they can start traveling to the State from Tuesday.

As for other aspects of air travel, the government has mandated institutional quarantine of 7 days for those found to be symptomatic. For those found to be asymptomatic and coming from high-incidence areas Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, a 7-day institutional quarantine is a must. They will be tested after 7 days and released to a 7-day home quarantine if tested negative.

A 14-day home quarantine for the rest is mandatory.

Each and every passenger will have to undergo testing.
