It's not for nothing that 'Garuda Vega' has taken so long to be completed. To be sure, the post-production works related to DI and Vfx have taken as many as 7-8 months. The initial plan was to complete it in 3 months or so.

CV Kumar, the creative head of the department, who had also worked for 'Baahubali-2', says, "It took us more than 800 hours to do the Digital Intermediary work. Praveen Sattaru gave us 2000 shots to work on. On Vfx, a team of 55 members worked for 7 months." This only helps us measure the enormity of the work.

The fact that Praveen is a perfectionist only meant that the work took its sweet time to get completed. "It's from him that I worked how to measure things pixel by pixel. He is that meticulous. Praveen's films are visually superb for a reason. He gives a lot of importance to post-production," Kumar adds.

'Guntur Talkies' and 'Chandamama Kathalu' are good examples of how Praveen ensures authentic visuals. In the case of 'GV', which is at another level, he has only gone many steps further. "Ever since the release of the Teaser, I have got many offers," says Anji, the film's cinematographer.

The film releases on Nov 3.
